Qfar Aqeb is an Arab village and Jerusalem neighborhood located in East Jerusalem, home to approximately 120,000 inhabitants, with its population increasing daily. The area is characterized by uniform high-rise buildings constructed in extremely close proximity, creating exceptionally high population density.
This project was part of my studies, where I chose to explore Qfar Aqeb, an area geographically close yet personally unfamiliar to me, despite living in Jerusalem. Entering this neighborhood for the first time, I was unaware of what to expect. The striking contrast and drastic change in landscape so close to home never cease to amaze me.
