The exhibition "Encounters – The World of the Homeless" was a deeply moving event, bringing together photographers from across Israel. Photographer Badoor Jbara captured the essence of the exhibition beautifully, saying, "People see the homeless, acknowledge their existence, yet glance at them from afar and move on. I photograph to show the person as a human being, up close. To me, this creates empathy and connection."

Displayed for two months at the city’s light rail station near the municipality—a location where countless people pass by daily—the exhibition aimed to draw attention to a reality often overlooked. It encouraged visitors not only to notice but also to engage meaningfully, promoting awareness, compassion, and volunteer involvement for the city's homeless population.
